Not very.
Once or twice a week, typically, until the World Series. It wasn’t until cable TV came along in the late 70’s/early 80’s that games were on more frequently.

Wonder how many people even knew he was on something.
Spotting an acid tripper is ALOT harder than spotting a tweaker or a stoner or a drunk. 3 hits is a damn lot though, even then I’d bet only a handful of his closer teammates picked up on it. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the LSD was a big contributing factor to his no-hitter, particularly once he got rolling. He must’ve felt absolutely on top of the world once he got in a groove.
