I caught that one live on the radio

The expression Dave puts into “I’ve never been so excited in my life on a 3-1 count” and then the crack of the bat. He put a lot into that HR call, this is possibly one of his greatest HR calls. One of the greats, of anyone, he’s just so invested before it happens.

Yeah we're really lucky.

Dave wanted everyone in Toronto to know about the prediction, and I’d wager would have liked to have gone down to the dugout to tell the team, rather than stay in the booth and call the rest of the game.

Fuck the Angels!

I have no idea what's better

Mike’s manic giggling or Dave screaming “I SEE THE LIGHT!”

At least it was genuine.

But if you listen to the rest of the inning, Rizzs proves again he does not work well with Niehaus.

Ye gods that's funny.

Being a Douglas Adams fan, if it had actually landed firmly in the second deck, I think I’d be a little frightened at the cosmic implications.

Is it just me or is this blog post beyond retarded?

Linky

I understand there was logic behind Blowers’ prediction, but does that really make it any less amazing? What are the actual odds of it coming true?

BTW, I found this post because “Blowers prediction” was the 40th highest Google search on Wednesday.

I'm more like I am now than I've ever been.

Of course it's retarded.

This guy is missing the entire point of why people think it’s so cool.

Also, probably not the best website to link to.

I guess he's just trying to cash in on a "popular topic"...

which I guess I’m helping with…oops.

I only linked to the post itself, which is on topic, so I didn’t think it would be a problem.

I'm more like I am now than I've ever been.

It would make me so happy if people who don't care about sports would stop talking about sports.

Unless it’s an issue which directly affects you, like stadium funding, etc. But don’t pretend to understand people’s motivations. It’s fucking annoying.

Tui's Entire At-Bat

For those of you who didn’t listen to the game as it happened, but can’t get enough of this, I found audio of the entire at-bat.

Niehaus was ALL over this one.

Oh! I'm sorry.

You obviously need a link to audio for the entire at-bat.

Here you go! http://www.filefreak.com/files/70597_u7kzb/Tui

(Yes, I see where you posted it before.)

(Yes, I’m sorry.)

The man's right.

I don’t even remember where I found the link, it was posted by a commenter on some blog somewhere – I’ve been googling this story every day just to see how quickly it spread across the internet. First Drayer, then Maddow, then the world!

I really am sorry about re-posting a link to the clip, especially since it appears someone stole it from you. That sucks.
