I’m convinced that if the Mariners had been winning more, he’d be making more calls like this one, and people would remember why Seattle loves him so much.

I woke up late last night, checked the game result, and spent the next half hour watching the highlights. I was mildly disappointed because the television announcer calling the game wasn’t the same as the one I was used to hearing when I had XM radio at work, but now that I’ve heard Niehaus’ call my experience is truly complete.
