You would think we'd juggle the rotation a bit so that Vargas can pitch at Safeco
where our defense and park factors make him appear to a good pitcher.
His road numbers are hideous
What do you mean?
I thought he had one. It popped out of the fielder’s gl…. oh wait that was Kendry.

We don't really know you but we all know and love RC.
If this was a joke, it’s a bad idea to make such jokes in this sort of context. If it wasn’t a joke, this level of grammar Nazi-ism is beyond annoying.

Losing to Bruce Chen is about as cool as pooping yourself
Don't believe the lies Bill!!!! look at the sparkly ERA!!! Sparkly, Sparkly!!! - McCovey Chronicles
Can someone tell me why Vargas started sucking so much?
He seemed servicable when he first filled in for the rotation. But then he was pushed out and since coming back I think he’s sucked.
This is my impression or am I just statistically challenged?
He sucks. Has and probably will.
He throws a shitty fastball 70% of the time. Doesn’t really miss many bats. Allows a lot of home runs. He is a lefty though so I guess when you say “He seemed serviceable” maybe you just meant you saw he threw with his left hand.

Randomly looking at some stuff for Ryan Franklin
who was a shitty pitcher turned really shitty turned kinda apparently good. Look at this pitch % graph and tell me it doesn’t make you want to have a seizure.

Thanks, so you're saying Vargas was never so good to begin with.
I think the best thing for C’ryan Franklin (and Pineiro) was moving to the weak league.
But I get your point about the (nonstatistical) impression of Franklin
I'm starting to think we should stick him on the DL :(
Who would we bring up? Carp or Shelton again?
Fuck Anaheim.
It might be more interesting to see Carp
and from what I understand about back pain the best thing is rest. Let’s hope it doesn’t become chronic.
