Or is was it the May 6 game vs KC – Silva & Ponson? I’m leaning Silva-Ponson.

Vargas isn’t amazing, but expecting him to just e mediocre isn’t the same as the feeling I got whenever Silva “pitched”
I can't believe Silva pitched into May.
I honestly don’t remember Silva pitching at all this season. It must have been a traumatic experience for me.

He didn't really change up the lineup
He just likes Ichiro-Branyan at the top and Saunders ninth. The only difference is, usually Griffey or Hanners is in there to break up the string of righties.

Is the consensus that this team can compete for a division title next year with
this group of starting pitchers? Granted we add offense at DH, and keep the same run prevention unit.
One of the USSM guys wrote up some projections the other day
But I don’t remember off the top of my head what they were…

If Morrow’s ready next year, yes. If not, I think most people would like another starter so that Vargas/RRS/Olson/French don’t have to take up 3 spots.

Felx, Snell, and RRS I can roll with. I could even deal with French or Vargas as the #5.
I think we definately need another #3 type. I don’t care how good the run prevention is, I can’t see us challenging if we need to get 60 starts from French and Vargas
