"Tell it to the DA"?

First off, I'm fine with Sims' choice of nickname. It's simple, clever and not too much of a stretch. (K-Rod? come on thats terrible)

But anyone else notice the "tell it to the..." part doesn't make any sense? I've heard "tell it to the judge" in movies and TV before, but people really don't plead their case in front of a DA.

Unless of course Sims is imagining a totalitarian society run by Mariners, where the DA is the only judge, the jury is Sweeney (who will hug you or not), and Branyan as the sexecutioner. I'm fine with that scenario.

Well shit

I just saw that movie for the first time a couple months ago.

Not only was I the last of my friends to see it, but now I go and miss the reference…

And tonight?

“Case closed!” with the save…

There are worse things, I suppose.

David89 never wears pimp hats, never makes up cool nicknames and probably doesn't have a crazy shaped head.

I wish Dave Sims was my secret black father.

I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!

He could be!

But it’s a secret, so you wouldn’t know!

This seems like it would be a difficulty for several reasons.

Crazy shaped head genes wouldn’t be the least of them, but also not the most problematic.

He probably hated Hendu, too.

Oh wait, so did I. But Sims is great!

I'm more like I am now than I've ever been.

You could NOT tell it to the DA

But you would destroy my dreams.

You don’t want to be responsible for destroying dreams, do you?
