Nice to see the bullpen not blow it for once.
As Jeff wrote: “Here’s a fun fact for you: the Mariners, at one point, have had the lead in ten of their last eleven games. Over that span they are 5-6.”
While you can say we weren’t really “in it”, It would have made a difference for our postseason chances. The team minus the bullpen is going pretty well now.
Bill Hall is more useful then I ever imagined.
Plus we got through the game with minimal racism! I’m proud!

The chuckle after Branyan’s HR was funny too.
Do we necessarily need to "sell high" on Josh Wilson?
His “big brother” is surely the better option for an everyday SS going forward, I get that, but aside from that shorthop in Detroit Josh has looked like a pretty good guy to have available to come off the bench, either to hit or field (can he run?).
