Yup. Although lonestarball has had some interesting discussions about what their No. 2 prospect Neftali Feliz and No. 3 prospect Martin Perez would look like if somehow combined like ESPN and other MSM seems to continuously do.
Word is they brought him up, but are waiting until Ian Kinsler is fully healthy so that they can send down a backup MIF.
Crap!
Info just changed: Kinsler to the DL retroactively, Feliz and Frank Francisco will be in the bullpen tonight.

Blacked out!
Yep, this game is blacked out for me. I hate ESPN so much, and without looking at the game I knew it was either the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs, or Cardinals. Next season the Giants will probably be back in that rotation since they’re good this year. Add that to the Dodgers thing plus their enormous hardon for Lincecum and you’ve got yourself a match! They’re also pretty keen on the White Sox, which is completely disgusting.

Anyone else see Snell's interview on FSN last evening?
The dude is AWESOME. “I just wanna not make any stupid pitches”, “just have fun,” “just be me” – and he smiled twice! His manner with the media reminds me of Bedard (i.e. he’s awesome).
The Pittsburg media did.
But I’ve been really proud of how well the Seattle media (Baker, Stone, Drayer, etc.) have treated him so far – Jim Street excepted of course, but no one gives a shit about him.
That one I knew about.
It’d be weird if Street was all up in his business, doesn’t he write exclusively for mlb.com?
~I'm on the DA~
Yeah, he does. My mistake.
I don’t read much local sports media outside of Baker, Stone, Drayer, and Brock/Salk.
Me neither.
But every once in a while Street has a headline that makes me check it out. Usually those stories are pretty bland, though; too much strict fact and not enough…I don’t know the word I’m looking for, but it’s not terribly personable.

More teams in the NL.
Means the talent is more widely dispersed, hence why the individual clubs are weaker than those in the AL.
This makes no sense
Try not to take me too seriously
Are you serious?
The talent is dispersed throughout all 30 teams. There is not a separate pool of players for each league.
Try not to take me too seriously
There are 14 teams in the AL and 16 in the NL.
Seems pretty clear to me.
The two leagues have a loan system, in which they let the other league "borrow" a player for a set amount of time. Then that player must return to his original league.
Take Ken Griffey Jr. and Randy Johnson, for instance. The former began his career in the AL, the latter in the NL. They both eventually switched leagues, but due to league guidelines, they were mandated to return to their original league before retirement.
Players can be waived out of this rule, but that’s a rare occurrence.

For those of you asking about Jack Hannahan, I asked Don Wakamatsu before the game what’s going to happen with him once Adrian Beltre is activated on Tuesday.
Wakamatsu said it will come down to a choice between Hannahan and Chris Woodward.
“The one thing Woody does is he plays short more than Hannahan has,‘’ Wakamatsu said. "Gives us a little bit more versatility.’’

If not, then I can’t see any reason why computers calling balls and strikes couldn’t happen.
It's been said the busted union walk out broke the union, and the legacy of that led to pitch fx.
