Games like this prove they can put forth a huge offensive output, but there’s just very little consistency. And these huge scores aren’t always simply due to opposing pitcher performances – the Ms looked pretty patient at the plate today.

I think Jeff postulated a couple years ago
that a mediocre team is the worst kind of team to watch, because you see the potential in the team so often to believe that they might ACTUALLY be that good, then they underperform and you the fan are stuck holding the bag.
