Earlier in the season Brett made a post asking if anybody wanted to join the LL BMO league. This is the 2nd version of this league and it's gone pretty well.

We've played over 10 seasons and in doing so, figured out some of the bugs in the program. After some discussion it was decided to restart the league with some of the improvements that we've figured out.

We've had a few people either drop out or just not pay attention. So as a result we currently have about 10-15 spots(for now) open.

Here's the forum for the league. If you wanna play, post. The url for the league and information is in this thread.

Teams are randomized and cities are equalized.

Is this the type of game that a person in an other time zone would struggle to participate fully in?

Perhaps.

The sim runs from 12Pm to 9Pm EST everyday at 60 days for every real day.

Injuries frequency and severity reduced.

All teams have equal fan bases and facilities. Income is equalized so big market teams do not have an advantage. Also, minor league promotions were increased.

As much as once an hour or once a day can work just fine.

The issue we had was a bunch of guys just stopped running their teams without saying anything.

Some people from the previous game are keeping theirs.

As for everyone else it will be a random draw. I think Goose is going to do the draw once we fill the league.

You can switch teams pretty easily before the sim starts.

Ok just joined the league and picked Seattle,

is there a sticky somewhere or a document that I can read to get me up to speed on the mechanics of the game, or is it a kind of play and figure it out as you go thing?

You will need to play around with it to get up to speed.

You can always ask questions once you get your feet wet.

Also, don't hesitate to ask for help in the forums.

No one is going to tell you what personnel moves to make or anything like that, but when I asked for more general advice (how to get out of debt, how to handle extensions, how to set up ticket prices/TV options, etc) people were generally more than happy to help.

The longer people stay engaged in the league the better, and I think you’ll find people more than willing to help make sure the newcomers don’t remain clueless for long.
