There seems to have been a lot of Latin on this site lately.
It’s making me feel (even more) stupid.
Fuck Anaheim.

Actually, the Seattle Mariners and Cleveland Indians both play in the American League
which since 1973 has used a rule which allows a player, known as the designated hitter, to bat in lieu of the pitcher. So Jakubauskas, though he will start the game as pitcher for Seattle will not have to face Lee, who will not be in the Cleveland lineup due to the aforementioned rule.
However, there have been several cases when an American League team was forced to send the pitcher to bat, so technically it is possible that Jakubauskas will face Lee, however, this is very rare and therefore highly unlikely.

And there have been cases where fielders have had to pitch...
Like our own Jack Hannahan.
Chicks dig the long ball.
But we always lose the first game of the series and win the next 2 or 3
So by some voodoo magic, he’s going to win. I’d imagine it will be fun to watch.
FUCK THE ANGELS!
