I'm trying to figure it out.
So..Russell is chasing the league? Or MLB is running away from him?

Russell Branyan is trying to capture Major League Baseball and make it his own

First step: our hearts.
Second step: the MLB!
The Yankees suck-a-doodle-doo!

Perhaps I could have found an actual picture of Branyan running

The movement lines sell it for me.

The league is clearly running away from Branyan because he rapes the MLB.
You got slurved!
Hehehe Mark Reynolds is so awesome.

Branyan's calf is bulging or something
Or trembling with all of its massive muscley-ness.
Angel's strikezone according to Gameday.

Picture not shopped.

We can't control what the Angels or Rangers do.
We need to match and exceed their wins, and beat them when we play them. I’m not that concerned about the Texas (they have to fade in August), and in my mind I know the Angels cannot keep this up, we just need to win the games we play. This M’s team has a lot of comeback in them. I see playoffs.
The thing is, we can't do much better than 7-3 in 10 games
Yet our last 10 games is what is arguably knocking us out of contention.

We aren't out of it yet.
The games still have to be played.

Bullshit.

Oh, OK enjoy the rest of the summer, it's been sunny and warm,
There’s lot’s to do.

Nick Adenhart was actually a ritual sacrifice.
The Angels are evil and will stop at nothing to win.

If we're going to win the AL West...(haha?)
Its going to be beating up on the Angels and Rangers. Which doesn’t seem that far fetched, it seems like we’ve owned the Angels this season.
And the Rangers have like, what, three extra inning wins against us? We’re the reason they were in first for so long instead of us.
All will be corrected in due time!
We really just need to move Branyan to third...
Call up Carp, bench Junior, make Shelton the DH, try out Saunders in left field…Results could either be epic or disastrous.
No need to rush Saunders
I think Langerhans is filling in nicely (2 walks and a hit today!).
Regardless of if Griffey is starting, we can’t justify having Shelton, Sweeney and Griffey all on the roster.

Langerhans is fine in LF right now
I trust the new FO to call up Saunders when they feel he’s ready developed enough to face major league pitching and not a second too soon. I’d be far more concerned about SS and who will be the starting SS for the rest of this year and more importantly, the years to come.
Is it wrong that I'm genuinely surprised and happy a comment by a new poster made absolute perfect, crystal clear sense?

We were all new posters once.
And, in some cases, twice.
...and now I'm here
Slow down. Wak has done a good job.
He is going to take care of this. I’m not worried. Trust him.

Branyan is fine second in the lineup
There really isn’t room on the playing roster for Carp
Shelton is not going to provide much more than Jr
Langerhans is fine in LF and Saunders is highly unlikely to offer any sort of substantial upgrade.
0-4.
To be fair, he was advocating moving Branyan to 3B
It’s still not a great idea , but a lot of us were hoping for it when Beltre had surgery (and prior to the acquisition of Hannahan).
Ah, read it as third in the lineup, not third the position.
That is a decent idea but with Hannahan aboard, probably not worth it.
