Well back when Byung-Hyun Kim was a D-back

apparently he saved 36 games one year. Even though every single time I saw him pitch on TV it was a complete disaster. Seriously, I don’t know how his career ERA isn’t infinity. Complete disaster every time

Good God, you're right, I remember that.

Kim was almost inexplicably in meltdown mode every time he took the field.

I am pleased by the fact that we are 5 games above .500.

I am displeased by the fact that we’re 5.5 out and Franklin Gutierrez was injured today.

Close game

Detroit has a good record and this was a road game for us. Besides that Bottom of the 1st meltdown this was an exciting game.

We scored atleast a run in 6 of the 9 innings, and each time we had an at bat it felt like were were gonna do something good. Plus just one hit away from tying it in the 9th. I think after this game, and with Felix and Washburn in the next 2, this will be a successful series, followed by 3 home games against again Cleveland..

FIRST OUR BELOVED GUTIERREZ IS INJURED, AND NOW A VAST, MALEVOLENT DARKNESS JUST SWALLOWED THE SUN!

Now is the time for penance, sacrifices, and wise counsel from the LL Council of Elders. We must have done something to truly anger the Gods.

It was nice.

I’m at Osan AB down near Pyongtaek and it got a little dim and cooler here, but I didn’t have any luck using a mirror to see it.

From my niece's exchange group:

“We ventured south to Bu yeo City to see some of the countryside and learn some history. On the way there we were able to see the solar eclipse. It was spectacular! Of course, we were all very careful while glimpsing the sky. One benefit of the eclipse was that it made the morning much cooler.”

Get well soon, Franklin. Just saw the video. What’d he run, 3 miles?

I watched it as well he ran a long ways to get there.

The Tiger’s announcers were weird to listen to. One of them was watching Guti and noticed he was hurt and was quiet and the other was getting excited over the triple.

You got slurved!

Hehehe Mark Reynolds is so awesome.
