Here is a blue and underlined piece of text.
Mike Sweeney is activated off the disabled list and Josh Wilson was DFA'd. If I did not make this post, I doubt anyone would have noticed for weeks. That is the good news. That bad news is that it now seems that Chris Shelton will slide into the Josh Wilson, never get used ever role. Chris Shelton is a far more intriguing DH bat than Mike Sweeney.
Please use Chris Shelton, Wak.

I know everyone knows the DL system is a joke
but it’s odd to hear Sweeney talk about it so openly:
“I told Jack (Zduriencik) and Wak (Don Wakamatsu) I’d only need three days. I know my body pretty well, especially with back and knee pain. I know how long it’s going to keep me out. But they told me after a few days, they needed a spot for (Erik) Bedard. I told them, ‘Hey, whatever’s best for the team is best for me. So I said if this is something you need to do, do it, even though I’ll be ready to play tomorrow.’’
