Statistical Trash?
I'm not sure what his arguement is here. He seems to be mad that people are breaking baseball down in order to determine what make a good player.

Norman Chad should be taken about as seriously as that creppy homeless guy on the corner mumbling about the government spying on him.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
To consider himself a sports writer
and at the same time completely write off analytical statistics, whose only goal is to better understand the sport of baseball, is a complete contradiction. His writing is the real trash.
Thug Life
Norman Chad is a comedian who uses sports as his topic.
Expect anything more and you will be disappointed.
Uhh...
“…a low 5.2 strikeout rate and 1.6 K/BB ratio are worrisome. His .260 BA-BIP and 84 percent strand rate are both primed for regression. Jurrjens’ 5.03 xERA is nearly three runs higher than his actual ERA, an ominous indicator.” Heck, I’m scared.
Yeah…
You got slurved!
Hehehe Mark Reynolds is so awesome.
The hilarious thing is
he is making fun statistics that he does not understand, simply because he does not understand them.
I never really liked the old tagline.
