This is the first perfect game I have ever thrown, a 63 pitch one against the A's with my 09 The Show player. My LHP dominated their stupidly LHB lineup [seriously they had 7 LHB] with his 99 mph cutter and running fastball, mixing in a few curves and splitters and using the circle change as the strikeout pitch.
Seriously I was so happy to do this, I must have pitched 2000 games since I first bought MVP 2005. I once threw a no-hitter with Joel Pinero in MVP [?!?!?!?] but I have never had perfection, until now.

it would have sucked if Gutierrez or Ichiro got POTG after that performance
Nice Guys Finish Third - My semantics are a waste of time.
Ichiro retired last year!!! :(

Yeah, that's my character who is also me although I made him 6 foot 10 instead of my own 5 foot 8 because I want to be tall and this is how I live out my sick fantasies.

How did that not go green?
I think the answer is simple: LL is full of faggots who hate pussy.

I got really bored of Road to the show, I made a hitter though
They also didn’t have my first name in the database, so they announce me on the PA as “Big Dawg”

I once threw a perfect game against a friend
in MVP ’05. The whole game from the first pitch on I told him I was going to do it too. Almost hit a guy but luckily made an absolutely terrible pitch and threw it behind him.
I threw one or two in MVP 05 with Pedro over the years.
And I just threw a perfecto with Bedard in The Show 09, actually. It was miraculous.
Awesome user name, by the way.
How in Christ's name did you throw a perfect game in the Show?
The best I’ve done in that game is a CG 5-hit 10K shutout with Felix. I’m lucky to get out of a game with less than 3 runs against. The pitching is bugfuck insane difficult.

I'm great at pitching but I am absolutely terrible at hitting. I think hitting is really difficult in The Show compared to other baseball games.

It's tough for me because I'm incredibly impatient.
I swing at nearly everything, half way through the season my BB leader has like 14

I find drawing a walk really difficult as well. I guess it doesn't help that I always pick the M's and their crappy offence...

Ken Griffey Jr has 34 home runs for me at the start of August
While Branyan and Beltre have like 20, leading the division by a couple games

The hitting is way more difficult than years past, but the pitching has been amped way up in terms of difficulty this year it seems.

It's taken a long time, but I've gotten used to it.
I sped the pitches up a notch, which I found to be helpful. I was swinging at breaking balls about three minutes early.
I think I had five balls caught at the warning track.
Full disclosure: I was losing too many games, so I’ve been playing with the sliders a bit. I made the pitching a little bit easier, but only by a click or two on the slider. It was just a really lucky game. Against a bad Colorado offense.
I play on HoF with some slider adjustments.
I don’t know, I am sure I am doing something wrong in terms of my approach.

Really? On my Mariners franchise, Bedard is terrible.
I had to trade him Shaun Marcum and David Purcey

Wow, throwing a Perfect with Bedard deserves some kind of special PS3 trophy. I always give up a tonne of hits with him.

No kidding? I must've gotten the wrong impression from Gareth on the office.
What name would you prefer instead?
Also, what would the most British name of all time be? I bet something with -shire in it, like Reginald Shropshire-Hockney or something.

I've thrown one no hitter
In The Show 08 with Kyle Lohse in his first start after i signed him from free agency as a stop gap.
That experiment went swimmingly.
One day i got extremely high
and threw 3 no-hitters in a row on MVP 05. The middle one was a perfect game too.

I threw a couple no-hitters with Felix in MLB 2K8.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
Brings back memories.
I threw a Perfect Game with 18K’s with Moyer on MVP ’05. Ironically I was playing as the Phillies and traded to get him.
Also, did you know, with a Power Left Handed Bat you can pretty much hit HR’s every time on ’05. Hence why I was the Phillies; Jim Thome.
OOOOOH!!!!! That was NASTY!!!!!!!!
GAH
I can’t believe it, I was taking a no hitter into the 9th in a game today against the Tribe, only for Jeremy fucking Reed to break it up with a liner to right. Ended up getting a 1 hitter, but getting a no-no and a perfecto in the same [game] month would have been pretty awesome.

That sucks.
I remeber I had a no-hitter going into the 8th againts the Padres in interleague play broken up by Mike Timlin. MIKE TIMLIN! He was in relief, I dont even know why they let him hit. That game still haunts me.

I once threw a perfect game in MVP 05 with Jorge Sosa.
Who, for some reason, was a groundballing machine in that game.
The Rise of a Superstar:Justin Upton-.398wOBA, 21 years old.
I have thrown four perfect games in the show '08.
Two with Felix, one with Washburn and one with Bedard.
