USA vs. Brazil Game Thread
The U.S. just beat Spain, as I'm sure you all know. They're currently up 2-0 on Brazil with just about 10 minutes to go in the first half. Not sure that two goals is a safe enough lead for my taste with so much game left to be played, but damn has this been a good show so far. Is it possible that we beat Brazil just after beating the world #1?

Brazil is going to get some red cards thrown their way if they keep running over these US players in frustration.

Is it a foul if you take them out without using your hands?

Yes, fouls happen all the time with the feet.

That was mostly a joke.
here is a real question— is it my imagination, or is Brazil using headers more to move the ball than the US?

You have a better chance of getting away with it if your arms are kept near your sides
but yeah, you can’t just run over people.

This is seriously out of control. It's a shame I missed both goals.
Howard is a fucking beaaaaaast.

If Brazil loses, they have only themselves to blame.
Having scored those three goals to allow the US team to advance.

heh
Robinho gives away a foul and wanders off mumbling inanities to himself. He really is a snivelling little wimp.

Brazil is attacking like a motherfucker.
This is frightening.

The Confederations Cup is historically, and without exception
turd.
That Egypt-Italy match and the USA’s last two have been brilliant.
Meanwhile, has anyone noticed how obscenely large those corner quadrants are?!

Still really good defense.
That was pretty much a perfect corner kick.

Yeah that is true.
The defense has played an incredible game, albeit I’m not that knowledgeable about soccer.
