So there's a non-zero chance that this will be Adrian Beltre's final game in a Mariner uniform. That's interesting. Jack should prepare a one year/$10m 2010 offer to give to Beltre the minute he wakes back up in the hospital.

Tui wasn't mentioned at first by Zduriencik, but who knows..

He impressed in Peoria, so that’s something, but he has been hurt all season – not sure when he is expected back, but almost certainly will need a good chunk of time in Tacoma to get the rust off

Rather than have Bedard throw a simulated game,as originally planned, Bedard will instead throw another bullpen session in a few days, raising his pitch count. Bedard is scheduled to return to the rotation in Boston, but Wakamatsu left open the possibility that he might be pushed back — again — until he can go deeper in a game.
