Anyone meeting up in NYC?

Any LLers planning on going to any of the Yankee games next week? I think I'll be at the Thursday game, maybe the Wednesday one as well. Depending on who is interested, I could possibly go to all of them. If anyone else is going and wants to meet up before/after, lets try and arrange something.

Bonus Note: Last NYY/SEA game I was at featured the infamous Lawn Dart. It was as amazing in person as it is in .gif form.

Unlike the ride on the subway later, I remember.

Of course you did eventually come over to my side, but by that time the game was so far out of hand that it really didn’t matter what Raul did anymore.

Fuck that game.

I would, except I’m going to be busy throughout the whole series (why couldn’t it have gone on until Friday?) and I have no money at the moment.

Though...

If anyone would rather do a bar meet-up, I’d be willing. Otherwise, I may just head down to The Abbey myself (that would be the one on 105th, not the one in Williamsburg). I don’t get down there that much but they usually have the game on.

I'm about 75 min from NYC for most of the year

I'm in NNJ (Parsippany area),

but unfortunately my boss is on vacation for the week, which means I can make it into the city just in time for the game to be over if I’m lucky.

I feel sorry for you.

I hate NJ and all it stands for. I’m an Oregon boy for the most part, and I’m pretty sure I’m an idiot for getting myself stuck here. I miss being able to bike to work or take a bus anywhere but NYC.

I have to say at least Mt. Olive isn’t as bad as Wayne/Lincoln Park/Pompton. It’s at least somewhat livable.
