Is Davis the guy who had cancer last year?
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

No Branyan, Beltre, or Griffey today.
This should be a dandy. At least Felix is pitching.
This is the worst lineup in the history of the world.
...and now I'm here
Chipper Jones, O'Flaherty, and Bobby Cox all ejected at once.
I never really liked the old tagline.

Glad to see Carp in the lineup.
I’d love to see him get some time now that Branyan is in an emergency role only.
They challenge kids not to drink?
What? Oh, there’s money involved. I see.

Actually according to ESPN
We’re through right now due to higher goals scored…

So Pujols has been in four bases loaded situations this year, and has hit three grand slams.
This guy may be the best ever when it’s all over.

I'll throw a non-retarded Happy Father's Day out to the few on here
I slept until 11 and have already drank 2 beers today. Father’s day is great because nobody expects me to do a goddamn thing. Let’s hope this game doesn’t make me feel compelled to drink more

Chris Shelton should be called up instead of Josh Wilson.
I think it’s almost inexcusable that he’s not in the starting lineup tonight.
Okay, that said, Happy Felix Day! We could run anyone out there and still have a good chance to win with Felix. He’s been worth 2.8 wins in 14 starts (on pace for 7 wins in 35 starts!). More of this, please, Felix.
So I may be guilty of a bit of hyperbole but this is the worst lineup in the history of baseball and/or softball at any level above t-ball.
I expect Felix to assist Mark Reynolds in his on going quest to obliterate his own strikeout record.

Gotta at least have some North Face in there.
And maybe some Eddie Bauer
In my mind, the gold is used as silver is used on the current uniforms
and the blue isn’t necessarily light blue but it’s not navy either.
by Aaron Campeau on Jun 21, 2009 1:34 PM PDT up reply actions
I don't like green
because then we’d look like the Sonics or the Seahawks and I find that all teams having the same colors to be really unimaginative.
If we change colors I’d like to go to bright orange because nobody has that.
And also orange is fucking awesome but it makes no sense for a Seattle team.

Rutgers threw out some awesome ones too.

I know.
Its really bad for the neighborhood. Now all the addicts are on the streets and violent because they don’t have their drugs.
The Mariners' uniforms blend into the furniture
The D-Backs uniforms look like they belong to a Legion team that is being sponsored by a local pizza/arcade establishment
My SBN stopped working for a bit, but I love the M's uniforms.
They choose a theme (the sea/seafaring) that fits their city and stay with it throughout their uniform design (the compass and the hint of teal lining the navy blue). I also really like the M’s font because it’s not cursive like most (although cursive is usually fine, like the Dodgers’ unis), but the Mariners’ font makes the uniform unique and distinctive. It’s probably one of my top five favorite mlb uniforms.

Overall, I'd agree that script (you mean cursive, right?) logos are probably best.
But I only really like them when they’re a classic logo for the team (e.g. the Dodgers, Royals, etc.). I don’t like them much when teams that didn’t have them before adopt them – it makes the cursive seem overused to me. But that’s just me.
Also, Sportslogos is awesome – it has a database of almost every mlb uniform used since the early 20th century.

I see what you're saying and I'm fine without script
but the font is so mid-90s it’s not even funny.
