Mariners on TV other than FSN
I'm thinking of ditching cable, but I don't want to miss Mariners games. Are they still broadcast over the air, or do you have to have FSN? If they are broadcast over the air, is it in HD?
If they aren't broadcast in HD, I guess I'll have to continue to let comcast rape me every month, but I'd rather stop giving them money if I could.

I'm fairly certain that you cannot catch games OTA.
As far as I know your only option (if you live in the Mariners’ media market) is to watch via FSN.
I do believe there are a few games every year that are/used to be on Q13
and when I say “a few” I mean like one a month. So FoxNW it is.
And by the way:

Please don’t do this. You could have found six more words.

Internet!
Let me google that for you. That gets you this article which states:
FSN Northwest and the Seattle Mariners today announced a long-term rights agreement extension that solidifies FSN’s position as the Mariners exclusive television partner. A significant new element of the partnership will begin in 2008, when FSN will televise all available Mariners games (except games restricted by MLB national TV agreements), which will result in the network delivering exclusively a minimum of 150 game telecasts.

I don't even have FSN
but at the ballpark they run those “ALL THE GAMES, ONLY ON FSN” ads in between innings at least once each game.

I have the worst possible FSN for a Mariners fan in the world.
I get to watch Torii Hunter teach kids valuable lessons everyday.

How does one go about finding these games broadcast over the interwebs?
I see links in some of the game threads, but the location seems to change. Is there a good way to find someplace that streams the game?
If not video, then even a free audio stream would be something.
Thanks.
There is no such thing as a free audio stream
mlb.tv controls all the interweb broadcast rights for all the games/teams. so that’s pretty much where you go to find them. And it ain’t free.

I'd settle for something delayed and of dubious legality.
I knew MLB controls the broadcast rights, but I thought there might still be some places to go.
Nope, they crack down pretty hard
I mean, I’m sure you can probably find some games from the late 80’s or something, but if you’re looking to watch last night’s game tomorrow, you’re probably out of luck.

Justin.tv and atdhe have them occasionally but the stream usually vanish pretty quickly.

This site has a bunch of audio streams for games.
Really, I would recommending just paying up the $20 bucks a month and getting MLB.TV Premium. The odd glitch aside, it’s much less of a headache compared to spending more time hunting down an online stream than actually watching the game.

Argh, the link didn't post.
Free Baseball Radio is what I was talking about. But good luck finding a reliable stream on there before MLB’s iron fist shuts it down.
