Vacation Pictures
Shannon and I went to Denver for the M's series. Minus the thunderstorms and the tornado evacuation, it was a pretty good trip. We ended up staying in the same hotel as the Mariners. I told Bedard that I wasn't stalking him, not too sure if he believed me though. For those that are interested, here's the recap in photo form. Enjoy.

You probably know, but they showed you almost every time Beltre was up.
It was awesome.

Cool deal.
In case no one told you – Dave Sims gave you a nice shoutout during a Beltre AB. He even called you by name.

I wish I was listening then.
What did Sims say?

Just went on about how Red is Beltre's biggest fan.
He mentioned the huge bobble head and the head on a stick. If I remember correctly, he also brought up the bat Adrian gave to Red.

Reminds me of Gorditos (I miss it soo much)
With their baby sized burrito but at least that is reasonable sized. That 7 lb one looks probably twice as big.

I haven’t lived in Seattle for a while. How the hell did Gorditos shut down? Place had a line out the door every time I was there.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain

Whoa! Its gone? No way?
I’m pretty sure they are still open but I haven’t lived in Seattle for a couple years too.

Did you stay at the Westin, Red?
I heard that that’s where the visiting teams stay (the one on 16th and Lawrence)?

If I didnt book it through Orbitz
there is no way in hell I would have been able to afford it. Basically I paid for one night and got the next two nights for free.

That is a great deal!
I love the beds at the Ritz. Probably the best bed I slept in in my life.

That burrito has eaten men alive
Good heavens that’s huge. It looks like it could cure any hangover ever.

The tornado warning thing was pretty surprising.
I was in Northfield, Minnesota a few days ago, and actually drove next to a developing tornado about 60 yards to the right. Freaky.
