Morrow back to the rotation? Hickey thinks it can't be ruled out...
I wonder if Brandon Morrow has stock in the Duncan Toy Company -- in some ways he's been treated like a Yo-Yo...
Buried in a site that's still struggling to get off the ground, but has former P-I beat reporter John Hickey in its arsenal of writers, we find this little nugget:
And, in fact, Wakamatsu won’t rule out moving Morrow back into the rotation, which is where he was supposed to be when the spring started.
``I’m not ready to go there yet,’’ the manager said.
(Seattle Post Globe article on Aardsma taking over the closer's gig).
Okay, so maybe this is a little bit of a stretch (and bad journalism) -- but you can't deny that a non-denial sometimes works itself into an affirmation. Or at least hope...

I'm lost as to what you mean, Paul:
but you can’t deny that a non-denial sometimes works itself into an affirmation

I have to register with the local county authorities because of that assumption.

Then he comes back to Seattle.
Felix-EriKKKKKKKKK-Morrow is like having 3 aces!
You got slurved!
Free Tommy Hanson! Free Jeff Clement! Free Michael Saunders!
That will be awesome for the 2-3 starts they are in the rotation together
before we trade Bedard.

Morrow is still a glorified child who needs to grow the fuck up and man up.
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

he has diabetes?
I like Morrow and wouldn’t mind seeing him be a starter but unless he works on his other pitches I don’t see that happening.

No I suppose not
But I don’t think it’s a good idea to force a guy who wants to pitch one inning to do 5-7 innings.

I don't think it's a good idea to tell the team that gave you a multi million dollar bonus
and is paying you hundreds of thousands of dollars to be terrible what you will and will not do.

True
But does anyone know the reason why he wanted to close? Was it health, he enjoyed closing, he’s a secret Angels fan? What was it?
by Alexander Calloway on May 31, 2009 8:18 AM PDT up reply actions
He was claiming diabetes at the time,
but he had a radio interview about a week ago where he said he wanted to close this year because he didnt want to be sent to the minors to be stretched out for starting at the beginning of the year. When the radio host gave him a chance to backtrack, he stuck with his original statement.

I agree with ac, and I guess my other point was that if Brandon Morrow wants to close, maybe he should try not sucking so hard when given the opportunity.
