Announcers lambast umpires for making correct assumption
Bobby Jenks (White Sox) throws inside to send a message to Texas in the 9th inning (5/9). Home Plate Ump issues a warning. Ken Harrelson says they should get some umpires who know what they're doing.

I like what Jenkins did there except for the parts where he missed, and threw behind the hitter.
I don’t know how anybody else feels about throwing at a guy around here. He threw at a guy, but kept it low so that’s not so bad, and doesn’t make throwing behind him such a big deal. I don’t care for throwing at a guys head, and throwing behind the head is worse, hitters first reaction is usually to lean back.
Too bad he didn’t drill Kinsler right in the ass, that would have been funny

I'm all for beaning someone if it's called for, as long as the pitcher isn't headhunting.
Nothing wrong with pegging someone in the ass or the thigh to send a message. Just be ready for some retaliation.

Our announcers
Made similar comments during at least one of the Minnesota games. And when you can see the tracer strikes right down the middle and the ump calls a ball?!? There’s a problem, and someone needs a good firing.
