Can We Get a Mulligan On This Week?
Jesus this team cannot hit righties at all. Yay we won somehow.

I trust that Jack Z and Co are all too aware of this teams deficiencies, being that, are they just looking for the right players to try to deal for? They have to know who needs to be expunged from this roster. How long must the fans suffer through this abortion of a middle infield?

Maybe we shoud call up some LHB from AAA? Say, one with power potential? Who could maybe play instead of a big black hole in our lineup?
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

Black holes everywhere
will not take kindly to being compared to Rob Johnson.

Que?
Denny Almonte is in intermediate-A. He also struck out in more than half of his at-bats this past week.
Pick Carp, or Saunders, hell, pick LaHair. It’s a shame we just have few places to play any of them. We need a LH or SH middle infielder, badly

Hey... that's uncalled for!
You should never out someone that’s in AA. That’s their business and theirs alone.

So, you're saying the Mariners should take up golfing?
I imagine that’s pretty likely to happen in October, at this rate.

Yuni's BABIP is extremely predictive.
Yuni’s BABIP = Yuni’s OBP.

Griffey's now OPSing .729.
Good to see he’s decided to stop being a black hole.

Bill Krueger: "That tape needs to be sent to the head of umpiring, that was terrible umpiring."
At least someone has the balls to call out a shitty ump.

While I was listening to the game on the radio on my way to work, Dave came across with this call
“And that’s at the knees for strike….pardon me that’s ball. Yeah know…I use alot of pardon me’s with this man behind the dish.”
You can't hide from the omnipresent eye.

Fun Mariners Fact:
Yuniesky Betancourt has hit an absurd 37.2% infield flies, second worst in the majors. Despite these 37.2% automatic outs, his BABIP is .296. His .286 OBP is actually better than he deserves.

How is Rob Johnson still on this team? Come. On.

Who is joining the rotation in place of Silva?
by coolconman on May 10, 2009 6:03 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
What are the chances
that the M’s run out a rotation of 4 lefties when RR-S returns?
by jimmylauderdale on May 10, 2009 6:20 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Seems likely actually

RR-S is about 3 weeks away from returning.
It seems rather unlikely to still have Vargas in the rotation at that point and have RR-S take a spot from a righty.
by Matthew on May 10, 2009 6:39 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
If we could just get rid of that ass clown Felix
we could have an all lefty lineup.
Bedard
Washburn
Hyphen
Vargas
Olson
That would be so fricken sexomatic.
by johnbai on May 10, 2009 8:18 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
That's generally what's called a rotation
by Graham on May 10, 2009 8:58 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
It would also be the opposite of sexomatic.
by Kirkharbaugh on May 10, 2009 11:04 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Left handedness always equals sexomatic.

5 lefties seems like it would be easy to combat
in playoff. And what about Felix? He is always sexomatic.

I didn't say Felix wasn't sexomatic.
Just that left handedness is grounds enough for being sexomatic.

Sure. I'm sure that one underage girl would back me up.
