Game went pretty well and it all fell apart in one inning. Might as well put the “clubhouse police” to the test since the team spent all offseason promoting it.

I love not being a Red Sox/ Yankees fan over here because no-one seems to know any other teams exist.
I saw a guy in the pub the other week in a Red Sox t-shirt and when I told him I was a Mariners fan he replied ‘oh yeah? Florida?’
He then proceeded to talk at length about how Money Ball was the best book ever but I found it hard to take him seriously.
Only getting ESPN games doesn’t help the situation any.

Well, he was close, he was probably thinking of the Marlins. Also, to be fair, I don’t really know any English football teams beyond Manchester United (whom I am guessing are the Yankees of English Football) and Liverpool.

Betancourt did not take a single pitch out of the zone
He fouled them all off. Ironically the only pitches he did not swing at were in the “strike zone”(the plate ump loved calling inside pitches strikes in this one according to gameday).
