Balentien had a real nice approach tonight in his ABs. Wouldn't mind seeing

him out there again tomorrow, with Gutz struggling right now, and Endy in the midst of his regression back to normal.

Wish we’d spread these runs and hits out instead of exploding then going idle for a couple games.

HOLY SHIT I WITNESSED THE BEST GAME EVAR

Even the Yuni-getting-four-hits thing. Which was outweighed by the Russell-getting-five-hits part.

I think we heard you on TV, then.

Because I heard that exact phrase shouted.

Dude no way

I definitely heard someone say that. Holy crap.

Well to be fair.

He mostly only does throw fastballs.

Sounds like me.

I’ll have to check to be sure, though.

I was trying to introduce a co-worker to the Felix-fastball conundrum

and he threw like 3 out of 4 breaking balls, made me look like an ass but caught someone looking.

Hard to tell who, the tv at the bar we were watching was at a bad angle.

It was Konerko, and it was the at-bat I described above.

Konerko was caught looking on a great breaking ball, fell right into the zone, he looked foolish and he clearly knew it walking out of the box. I blame myself for feeding him bad information.

About tickets...

So I am coming into town in a few weeks for a game or 2, and I am wondering…Does anyone know, is the ticketmaster feature on the Mariners’ website the only way to buy tickets through the team? Because the ticketmaster interface is the most offensively frustrating to use piece of garbage that I have ever encountered. It takes like an hour to browse for different types of tickets, and gives you very litle control of where your tickets actually are. Is there another way to go about this, outside of buying tickets secondhand? Appreciate the help.

You forgot the $2.50 "convenience" charge for printing out your own tickets

on top of the $5 dollar “service” charges. Ticketmaster makes me want to kill things.

Most people don't like to do that when coming from out of town

Because depending on how many people he’s going with, it might be difficult to get good seats, and if the Mariners keep playing well a sellout is not out of the question

If I’m coming from out of town, I’d never ever consider buying tickets day of game, and I know lots of people who feel the same way

Buying them secondhand is better price-wise

you can usually get tickets on StubHub for below face value – at least you could a couple weeks ago. And you know exactly where the seats are.
