Churchill's Farm Report Rises like the Phoenix out of the Ashes of the P-I...
I'm sure a lot of you are aware of the story of the Seattle P-I print edition's demise, and how some of the former staffers put together a grassroots site -- SeattlePostGlobe.org. And a lot of you know that Jason wrote the Minor League Farm Report weekly for the P-I.
He's now reprising that gig for the Seattle PostGlobe, and his first article is up -- covering Matt Tuiasosopo. It also happens to be the first time I've ever had a byline that shows I'm affiliated with someone other than myself -- yep, I'm now on board with the PostGlobe helping Jason by providing photos to accompany his writing.
I'm still figuring out how this all is going to work, but it's pretty cool seeing something other than "PaulMPhotography.com" associated with one of my photos. I know things are still getting off the ground there, but it's fun to be at least a little bit a part of it...

Well done Paul,
Your work is awsome so it’s no surprise.
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

Congrats, Paul!
Now let’s get this opus of yours into Churchill’s next write up:

I guess losing Beltre at the end/middle of the season hit him pretty hard,
You got slurved bitch.

And why did he end a sentence with a comma? I'm still wondering what the end of the sentence is.

People in Europe switch commas and periods, duh.
Like two and a half would be written 2.5 here and 2,5 there. Get with the program kid.

I know he's wrestling
And he was at the LL/USSM event in January (sadly, I was 2,000 miles away).
And he loves Jeff’s sweaters.
Also, since his tag was “The good thing about having sex with pregnant chicks is that they can’t get pregnant,” does this mean Red will be a father soon? And if so, best dad ever (Sorry Dad, you’re awesome, but you’re not Beltre Man).

I struck up a conversation with him the next game after the one where Beltre gave him the bat.
It felt like I was talking to a Rock Star. FSN used to make a point of showing him but not this season.
Fear the NPE

Hmmm. So maybe THAT'S the correlation...
Red doesn’t get TV time and Adrian Beltre sucks at the plate…
This signature space for rent.

I actually met him at the home opener!
Finally… It’s not easy to do when I live 1500 miles away. Ran into him at the top of the section by the beer cart.

We saw him at the game last night.
Still pimping Beltre like the true fan he is.

He has really nice seats, above third base is a pretty good spot.
Personal preference based on my love of the position. I wonder if that’s why he moved over there, first base side is nice since you can see the strike zone on the right handed batters.
