Im Sorry is it just me?
Or are the “events” upside down on these charts?
Too close for missles, switching to guns.
Buy a laptop.
Much easier.

A interesting little thing about the guy we are going up against tomorrow from Beyond The Box Score
Anthony Ortega isn’t fooling anyone. Ortega was named the Angel’s minor league pitcher of the year in 2008 thanks to 14 wins and a 3.52 ERA. His peripherals were not really outstanding and now batters are catching up with him…and how. Out of the 237 pitches he has thrown, only four have been for swinging strikes. He has a K/PA of 3%. Oh, and he has 15 earned runs in 13.2 innings. Owie.

I don't know...
A guy who doesn’t miss bats? I think that is perfect for this line-up.

Ortega
His fastball sits at 88-93 max 95, average change and curve if he can locate it. He profiles best as a reliever so the Mariners could aide his career progression by having a blowout, charity is a good thing ain’t it?

I'd feel really good about tomorrow if not for the fact we have
shitbags pitching.
Any predictions on the score?
Maybe 12-10? Too high?
Woooooo Mariners!
And in other news, Brandon Webb has been shut down for at least another 3 weeks, putting Arizona’s season on life support.
Woooooo Mariners!
You can't hide from the omnipresent eye.
Just got home from the game!!!!
It was awesome and the M’s rock! Very solid game and it was fun to see Angel fans pissed off about their team playing bad.
I wore all my M’s gear and got heckled until Branyan hit the homer in the second and then everyone shut up. Everyone was in red…very few Mariner fans there but we bonded together. Great game: 11-6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff!!
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

It was just you
everything was hit right at him.

He made quite a few nice plays
up the middle in the early going. I wondered again if he was just positioned wrong to make those plays easily and thus they took a little longer to develop
Everything was hit to where he should have been.
But he actually had to move a bit to get them.

Well at least he made the plays tonight
for that I’m thankful
He didn't look good moving side to side
he looked fine charging the ball, but he always looks fine charging the ball.

That bare hand play was fairly nifty though.
I still don’t want him starting but at least he didn’t leisurely walk to every ball.

Definitely, it was a nice play
he looked like he positioned himself a lot better today

Though I'll admit I spent a lot more time trying to figure out how Bedard's curve was doing than watching how Yuni positioned himself
by seattlebruin on Apr 25, 2009 1:07 AM PDT up reply actions
It's messed up but I'm hoping Yuni plays himself out of the line up.
That’s all kinds of wrong because it means he’s playing badly and therefore hurting the team, but there you go. I just don’t like him, he’s too inconsistent and I really don’t like that in a starting position player.
I hope the opposite, honestly.
Yuni has way too much talent to suck this much

holy shit context

Hmmmm...
This, maybe?
Of course, I cannot abide by any Mariners-based movie that does not cast Carel Struycken as Bavasi.

Condenced games are now available and for the time being can be accessed by people without mlb.tv accounts.
Also, where did Shawn Kelley fit into the organisational mix at the end of last year? Because I have been impressed with him so far, however I had never heard of him until the middle of spring training and this makes me feel like a bad fan.
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.
No worries.
Shawn Kelley started out in Wisconsin last year, then worked his way up to High Desert and West Tenn. Most people had never heard of him before. Except me because I’m like that.

Two outs in the bottom of the 1st.
Two runners on base.
David Wright hits a lazy flyball to centerfield.
Elijah Dukes takes his lazy ass time to get under the ball.
The ball drops in for an error.
Two runs score and a third is tacked on to make it 3-0 Mets.
It was pathetic. Pretty much put the nail in the coffin for the Nats winning today.
Sitting in Nationals Park
Listening to Nats fans talk about there team was hilarious in a sad way.
NEEDS MORE FREEDOM!

They can have our Griffey.
I still want Strasburg :(
