I wish we had a young promising hitter or two in the lineup, to at least make
watching our offense somewhat interesting. Watching aging veterans make outs is quite boring
Burke as well. It's more about the lack of promising young hitters
that will be a part of this team’s future.

I am talking about him as purely a hitter. I said nothing about his defense or his
overall value. I also did not say anything about getting rid of him. I just said he’s not a good hitter.

While our offense would still probably struggle.
Having Clement and Balentien in the back end of the order would at least give this team some potential to actually get extra base hits. Of course you have to weigh the defense vs offense thing when talking Chavez vs Wlad.
However, the way Johnson and Burke have looked defensively, Im not so sure how much of a defensive downgrade Clement could possibly be.
