I was just so amazed I got the reference at all I nearly wet my pants
Then the happiness all came crashing down when I caught up to the GT and found out I was LATE!! Fun game thought eh? This team might reset my doom and gloom meter, lord knows it needs it.
Agreed, it was a helluva game
This reassures Seattle sports fans and brings them back from the edge a little. If nothing else I think we’ll be a fun team to watch.
I feel the same way about the reference. I thought I was part of something but it turns out that something was really down thread. Lousy thiefs!

Who comes in for the 9th, if Bedard can’t go the distance?

That was a bullshit hit to RF. Wasn't hit solidly or anything.
No reason to pull him out at all, let alone for a RHP against Giambi. If Giambi goes walk off right now I will not be surprised.
That has to be one of the worst situations to have bunted in
Yesterday, they let the guy have 2nd base, now they’re giving up an out for it.

I hate the ends of games like that, but they make me feel alive, especially when we win.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this team.

I think he does
I remember a couple days ago he threw a little breaking pitch that really surprised me.
GOD SENT A PLAGUE OF BUGS TO SMITE THE OAKLANDERS DOWN
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.
I thought that was dropping in for sure.

Ok who forgot we had a good defense out there and thought we had Raul playing LF?
Anyone else?
Just me?
Do you mind? We're getting our groove on here.

I am SO happy for Bedard, and happy that we swept someone in our divison.
Tuesday is going to be awesome.
God that was a sweet sweet win
Great fucking game by Bedard, I’ll have to watch the archive later.
What are the odds that those bugs are LL's next dead meme?

For a second I thought Brad Adam was about to talk to Bedard
What a topsy turvy world it was in my head for a minute.
Not his fault.

Well that was incredibly lucky
I don’t want to see Bedard being taken out for Aardsma in that type of situation ever again.
Mike Sweeney making fun of Balentien.
Wlad: “Hey, LET’S WIN THE SERIES”
Sweeney: “We already won the series. How bout lets sweep?”
Wlad: “LET’S WIN THE SERIES AND SWEEP!”
I heard on the radio they went out to the pitcher's mound too.
So they were equally affecting each team.

Rob Johnson on Bedard "He really trusts his curveball and knows it can be effective."
You hear that Felix? It’s ok to use offspeed stuff.

you accidentally
added the words this early to your post
Don't believe the lies Bill!!!! look at the sparkly ERA!!! Sparkly, Sparkly!!! - McCovey Chronicles
Bedard's curve makes Felix' curve look like shit though.
Ever since Felix hurt himself early one season…either last year or the year before his curve hasn’t been quite the same.
So one of the options for most surprising things of the year is that the Washington Nationals are winless.
And yet, one of them is not that the Cleveland Indians are winless. What?

Yes, they won today, my bad...didn't see that yet.
I’d say them having only one win is more surprising than the Nationals having none.

Not saying he wasn’t effective enough but I thought he threw faster generally.
