Jeff Clement
Why in the Lord's name is Jeff Clement in the minors? Where is he? Is he hurt? What kind of a first-round draft pick was he? Johjima is too old, IMHO. I don't like having all of these washed-up veterans on the team. Some of these guys hanging around for one more paycheck belong on a team like the Phillies or Cubs. The Mariners will win around 72 games this year, not 85 and contend for the AL West.
Incidentally, while we are all saddened by the loss of Nick Adenhart, will that affect the outcome of the AL West race?

Johjima's yesterday looked stupider than that
(sigh)
I love Clement, in a totally non gay but also at the same time, completely homosexual way. He’s not in the majors because spring training stats don’t matter for anyone apart from him.
Jeff Clement is in the minors because he can't hit and catch very well.
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

Jeff Clement is in the minors to work on his defense says the Organization.
He is playing for the Tacoma Rainiers. I do not happen to know where he is at this exact moment though.
To the best of my knowledge, he is not physically injured.
He was a third-overall selection in the 2005 Rule 4 draft. He was touted as a left-handed power hitting catcher. At the time of the draft, there were a number of players that most scouts saw in the 3-7 range of picks with no clear leader. He was that kind of pick.
It is hard to say, not knowing the future and all, whether the death of Nick Adenhart will affect the divisional race, but given that he was only expected to hold down a minor role on the Angels team this year, my educated guess would be that no, his passing with not personally affect the outcome of the division. His unavailability may play a part in it though.
Thanks for stopping by!

The definitive baseball authority
I have this funny feeling he was saying we’d win 95 and the AL West last year.
I found a translation...
In the division will be one seaman
who will long be in the depths to dwell
Then the golden rod shall be forever lost
for it will be ruled to the seaman’s detriment.
What're ya gonna do with those pies, boys?
Is that really Nostradamus or did you just make that up?
Because that is good if you just made it up.
I've read some real Nostradamus
It’s pretty easy to make up this shit.
