Baseball Podcasts
So I've been prepping for the season in the past few weeks, and I've noticed that among my many sports-related links, blogs, RSS, and podcasts, I have no baseball podcasts. For basketball, there is The Basketball Jones (used to be great, they've gone downhill since their switch to video podcasts. Still worth a listen though, if only for 20 minutes of canadian per day). But I can't find an equivalent in baseball.
That said... what do you guys recommend I listen to? I'd prefer not to have a fantasy-related podcast, but really, I would be happy with 30 minutes of baseball talk per day. Canadian accents are always a plus.

I listen to
baseball today, which is an espn one, it’s not bad, only weekly at the moment, but daily once the season starts. Karabell and Pascherelli, I don’t really agree with much of what they say because it’s your typical espn stuff but it fills time at work.
I think there’s also a baseball prospectus and baseball america podcast, I haven’t listened to them in a while though.
I have baseball today subscribed still
but I haven’t started listening to it yet this season. Typical ESPN stuff is a perfect way to describe it, but it’s good enough when I’m on the bus.
I got the BP one for a while
but then I got tired of Will Carroll. YMMV. There was some interesting stuff, but not a ton.
Nice Guys Finish Third - Hopelessly lost, but makin' good time.
We should do
an OTFPOTD podcast.

it is VERY easy to record a podcast using just a few programs
So yes, you should do this. If you guys wanted someone to produce it I definitely could, although I’m not claiming to be talented in this department, just competent.
I would give just about anything
For a LL podcast…

Plus, what we would talk about?
I’m intrigued by the idea, but I think it wouldn’t come off well.
Our podcasts would just be 30 minutes of inside jokes
20 minutes of beer talk, 8 minutes of Sens talk and 2 minutes on the Ms
That general formula works for Simmons.
Instead of Beer, Sens, and M’s, you just get College experiences, the Celtics, and nasally laughs.
So about the same mix as the written content on the site.
I’m still interested.

Plus you're the only person who'd be intelligible

bummer
I really liked listening to Max Kellerman’s podcast. It was NY centric, but he seemed like a smart guy who really understood baseball. His show got cancelled the other day and I think he got fired.
