So I was sitting at my desk just now and I heard a muffled, distant roar from the south
turns out it was the primal screams of thousands (?) of vacationing Seattleites celebrating Junior’s first ST home run. And you think ST doesn’t matter. Tell that to Sven and his wife who trekked down in their RV just for this moment. They can now die happy.

Sven is an old Seattle stereotype
back when Ballard used to be populated by old Norwegians pretty much everyone there was named Sven, and they couldn’t drive, and they smelled like fish.

I was actually quite excited when I read the boxscore and saw that he homered.
Then I realised that “M Wilson” has 4 HR in ST compared to Griffey’s one. @(

Can't lie, when i saw him under the HR column, I got excited..
makes little sense as to why, but after going 2-18 with no extra base hits all spring, i was beginning to wonder if he was gonna pull a Sexson, Vidro, Wilkerson, Everett type of stunt when we got to the regular season
