Per LSB, Andruw Jones is cut by the Rangers.
SURPRISE, Ariz. - Rangers general manager Jon Daniels acknowledged the team is likely to decline to add non-roster outfielder Andruw Jones to the 40-man roster by Friday, thus giving the 10-time Gold Glove winner a chance to take free agency.

I think it's because he's not that old
He’s only 32 and he had an ops of over .900 a few years ago, now he’s terrible. I don’t get it, is the collapse really age related or is it because of hidden injuries or what?
Even though he was a Brave and I hate the Braves
I guess I’m bummed that we missed out on a legendary player.

Update
Andruw Jones is staying with the Texas Rangers at least through the weekend, even though he has not been added to the major league roster.
Jones said Friday he agreed with the Rangers to extend by three days a provision in his minor league contract that would allow the five-time all-star to become a free agent if he’s not put on the big league roster. That pushed the deadline to Monday.
Now with even more fun...
