What should be done about the mods?
Last year, if you recall, we had a wee fund raiser to provide Mr. Sullivan with cheap hookers and the best Colombian blow MLB.tv for the year, in gratitude for all the work he has done on this site. We all felt warm and fuzzy, like we'd actually done something constructive with our lives for once. It was a strange feeling, but not a terrible one like most feared it would be.
Well, it's a new season, and now, in addition to Mr. Sullivan, messrs. Carruth and McAree have stepped up and done a lot more contributing to (and modding of) the world of LL. So it doesn't seem fair just to single out Jeff this year - obviously, since they're in Seattle, Matthew and Graham don't need MLB.tv to watch the Mariners, but it seems like if we can raise money for one, we can raise money for three just as easily.
So, non-Jeff mods, my question to you is, even though you're "in-market", would an MLB.tv premium subscription be something useful to you? If not, what (and when I say "what", I really mean "what baseball-related thing with an MSRP approximating that of MLB.tv premium for a year - nobody's getting a Bugatti Veyron here) would?
An MLB.tv premium subscription is $110 a year. I'm not a mathematician, but I believe that would make three subscriptions somewhere in the neighborhood of $330. We can raise this in about eighteen seconds if we really want to, and we wouldn't even have to get in a flame war with people who don't want our mods to go to college. I for one think that's a bargain for what we get out of LL every year - if you agree, let me know and in a few days if everyone's amenable I'll put up another post asking for money and also providing a means by which to donate it.

~Sigh~
My jacket’s gonna be cut slim and checked
Maybe a touch of seersucker with an open neck
I ride a GS scooter with my hair cut neat
I wear my war time coat in the wind and sleet

I've had enough of living, I've had enough of dying, I've had enough of smiling, I've had enough of crying.
After 5,000+ albums and years of exploring pretty much every genre of music imaginable, it’s still my favorite album of all time.
Patriotism, Pepper, Professionalism
The same lyrics/melodic section appear in two songs.
So I’m guessing you must have been referring to “Sea And Sand” instead. Actually one of my least favorite tracks on the entire double album, but still pretty good. “I’ve Had Enough” pwns it all the way, though.
God I love that album.
Patriotism, Pepper, Professionalism
Yeah no kidding.
However, Sea and Sand is the best song on the album.

Matthew and Graham aren't getting dime one from me until they free my working keyfob from their fortress of solitude.
Last year I bought Jeff happiness.
This year all I can afford is to buy Jeff a quarter-pounder with cheese.
The economy has left me in position to only give the love in my heart and appreciation for their work

I will happily contribute, as I do any time this comes up
As soon as there is a link to pay towards then there will be money coming from me. I’m fortunate to be able to pitch in, but it’s the least I can do considering what this place brings to the table for all of us

This is a problem we can readily solve
since we’ve seen what’s available on Craigslist and you appear to meet all of their criteria

We could buy them a huge cake
and have Jose Vidro pop out of it
I bet we could book Vidro and Snelling in a wrestling match for their entertainment
and Fruto could make a surprise run-in midway through…
I am happy to donate. Count me in.
Although I do make food for Matthew and Graham whenever I can – does that count?
If only there were eight of you so I could afford to get a byte to eat.

You only need four of him to have a nibble though.
There are no good individual basketball statistics.
