MLB Network's pre-empting of the Strikeout Marathon
raquel.ramos@mlb.com is the e-mail address given. It's the only one listed on the contact information of MLB Network's page. Snail Mail and Telephone options can be found HERE.
Maybe it's just me who's so bent out of shape about this, I don't know. I suggested MLB put up a poll about what the fans want to see--since supposedly the goal of MLB Network is to entertain the fans--so why don't we get something going that we can show to them here? It probably won't help too much, but it's possible, and I'll waste my time for even the slight possibility of getting to see RJ pitch in a Mariner Uniform tonight at 9PM...though it'll probably be just be the same A-Rod segments over and over again...

...Like they won't re-run it 5 times in the next two weeks.

The next scheduling of an RJ game is next Sunday, and it's only one of them....
Plus, would you really be surprised if they didn’t drop this story till the WBC started?

I would be surprised
but I also wouldn’t expect them to preempt any more programming based on the same story. MLB Network programming runs in cycles. Programs are re-run several times over the course of a week, this is why they will interrupt scheduled programming with breaking news because you often can catch whatever you want at a later point.

Aaaaand never mind, RJ's first 19 K game is on right now.
After all yesterday and all today being continuous A-Rod coverage. How is the schedule going to play out now? So confusing, MLB…

Will this network be available online?
I’d love to have this channel on during the regular season.
I was at Shea for the Felix-Slam!
Personal M's record: 5-4.

My only confusion in all of this is
I thought the MLB Network was here to promote the product and promote the game. Talking about A-Rod doing steroids and pre-empting the classic baseball games doesn’t seem to be doing that.
Fans are typically idiots.

What a great game against the Sox.
RJ whiffing everyone and their sister at the plate, Gar and Junior both hitting bombs. Those were the good ol’ days.
You're trying to kidnap what I've rightfully stolen.

Bastards just did it again!
It’s a big story, I know, and MLB Network has a responsibility to cover it, but dammit I was excited to watch Randy today.

Old School Randy
The Oakland A’s game and the White Sox’s games aired last night around 11 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time) then for even more heartache they showed highlights from the 2001 season this morning.
So close, yet so far away. If only the M’s had RJ in 2001.
