The Dodgers suddenly have a lot of blocked Middle IF prospects
So with the signing today of Orlando Hudson the Dodgers now have:
and Blake DeWitt
all sort of mired in the minors. DeJesus is the furthest away, but Abreu, DeWitt and Hu probably don't need much more time in the minors. I know the M's just acquired Cedeno but do you think any of these guys would be a potential Lopez/Betancourt replacement?
The only thing the M's have that the Dodgers could potentially want are proven veteran SP, surely Jarrod Washburn would be a nice fit once Jason Schmidt inevitably goes down with another arm injury!
Actually I can't really think of anything the M's could reasonably offer...

DeJesus, please.
After missing the entirety of the 2008 season, I’m not sure Abreu is really ‘ahead’ of him, but they don’t play the same position anyway.
Anyway, DeJesus’s defense is supposedly stellar, so I’d certainly get LA on the phone about him. The Cedeno pick up obviates any need to trade away a big-time prospect; LA has no leverage here, so if we can get him for a song, great. If not, no harm done.
