Oftentimes an entire day will pass between baseball games, and sometimes the delay will be even longer. Unless we're talking about geological phenomena or biological evolution, 24 hours generally doesn't qualify as 'rapid'.

According to Kurkjian, Wainwright and Carpenter are still the best 1-2 punch in baseball due to their season's last year.
