You Guys Really Like To Project

So far, 37 players have received at least 30 projections from the Fangraphs community. Nine of them are either Mariners or Mariner free agents.

The list of players projected 30+ times is a veritable who's who of the best or most popular players in the league, and Michael Saunders and Jack Wilson.

Saunders has received 28 projections from fans of his team. Zack Greinke has received 11.

Mariner fans own the internet.

A WAR of 0.1 seems pretty fair for Griffey as an pitch hitter.

I meant playing time, but I also think projecting him to slug .400 is a bit a stretch

Hey, maybe other teams' fans should get with it.

I did projections for the Mariners. But the fact is, I have no idea what to project for the players of other teams. I could make a guess on the players that we play a lot, but I don’t feel like it would be very well informed. I’d probably just look at the numbers from recent seasons and base my guess on that. Like a non-mathematical Marcel.
