This is hopefully going to be the big one. The Black Friday Turkey Bowl!

If you haven't played with us before, you're very encouraged to show up for this special after-Thanksgiving calorie burnoff.

Playing on Lynnwood High's new field was cool, but I think we should try Garfield unless enough people say otherwise. Also, I wont be able to make many decisions on this thread because I wont be online much in the upcoming week, so I hope you guys get time and date sorted out.

My vote is for Garfield. I'm not sure where it is,

but from my limited knowledge of the area there should be back-up fields around if that fails.

It seems like Garfield would be a good location from the sound of it. It has to be better than that slanted field.

Lynwood! 1 o’clock? I’m not very familiar with the area so someone else should recommend an exact field. But I’m definitely down if I can get a ride, which I can.

I would much prefer Garfield because I have to work on Saturday night

and that would make my commute easier.

I would happily go to Lynnwood, though, if someone up that way has a similar reason.

but the game got pretty crazy. 4 dudes that were just hanging out at the field joined us… and it created a 7 vs. 7 game which is just chaos. With no linemen or QB rush, and no called plays… it’s just a shit-ton of people running around yelling “I’m open, I’m open!”

Get the kind with the velcro flags that stick right on the belt

You probably don’t have cash to invest in new flags… but those work well and never seem to break from wear and tear. Though I suppose the velcro will wear out eventually.

I found another set of 10 as a stopgap

and I called the company. They don’t provide a warranty for these “summer games,” and apparently they would be covered under the warranty of the store.

Considering I got the first set at Marshall’s, my costs are probably sunk on this one. I get paid again on Friday… after then I think I’m going to have a look at ebay and see if I can find anything useful.
