You said "the doghouse" not "a doghouse"
that implies there is only one.
Well if the doghouse is figurative then I don't really have a new roommate since it is not a real house and therefore doesn't have two literal tenants

They scheduled a weekday playoff game during the daytime?
Thank you, whomever!
I am not being sarcastic.
This is fantastic.
It's nice because if it were on when I was at home I would feel obligated to watch

The baseball game probably would
But they also don’t want non-sports fans losing interest with late premiers
I hope it involves a medical mystery.
Those are the best.
This will probably be the last game I get to see all year, all the WS games will be starting at 1am+ so this game is a great start time.

Should have followed it up with a pudding joke
but I guess it’s not quite close enough to either Christmas or 1875 for a figgy pudding joke to be funny.

has he never heard Stern’s show? He had to know what he was walking into when he booked Lange onto a live hour of television. Lange is an idiot.

It may have been disrespectful, but I didn't think it was out of line considering the set-up of the show.

I am happy that Pettitte gave up a two-run homer
I am unhappy that the Angels hit a two-run homer.
Fuck Anaheim.
I have decided to go all in for the Angels today.
I hate the Yankees more, and there might as well be as much baseball as possible the rest of the way, so I really hope the series goes seven games.

I've grown bored of making fun of them for being hilariously awful sellouts and now I just see them as a group that makes dance music that I find to be occasionally catchy.
What is "selling out" in music mean these days?
Considering how much digital media has sapped traditional revenue streams, I feel there’s a softening stance in, for instance, licensing work for commercials, etc.
To me, compromising your musical integrity to cash in.
They traded what made them interesting for forgettable pop crap that has made them filthy rich. Also, Fergie is useless.
I feel like I would do this in a second.
And then after a couple years raking in the dough, go back to making the music I want because I had financial security.
Once you've tasted the sweet cash that can be made by making common dance music, there's no turning back.
Also, why the HELL is Lady Gaga a celebrity?
I really think that I would be fine stopping once I reached a certain point of cash reserves.
In all fairness though, I have no idea.
I'd say the same thing, but how many times have you really seen this happen?
I mean, a celebrity compromising themselves to cash in and then saying “alright I think I’ve got enough cash now.”
I don't follow celebrity culture. I would not know.
Though I think it wouldn’t get much attention since the person in question would be dropping out of the limelight. Seems like it would be easy to overlook all the cases where this did happen. Like how people forget all the players that left the Mariners and sucked.
I would agree with that.
I don’t hate it when an artist licenses his/her work to make some money, and I don’t like to tell people how to live their lives, but in this case I just always found it so over the top that Black Eyed Peas are in a category by themselves. It’s not that they decided to make some money off their work — it’s that they completely changed the kind of music they make in order to make money off the licensing. I don’t think it would bother me if I had never heard of them before 2004, but I know that they’re better than this, so it stings a little bit.
But if after two albums they decided that they just weren’t making enough and wanted to go pop, that’s their call. As I said, I don’t really hold a grudge anymore.
Bridging the gap from rap to calypso.

[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
Yeah but you can't ignore his UZR this year which has his range around average
I’d be willing to guess it’s easier to play LF in Citizens Bank than in Safeco because of the sizes of the parks. This makes me think that as bad as Ibanez was in Safeco, the fact that Burrell was almost as bad in Citizens Bank makes Ibanez an upgrade defensively.
Of course this is all assumptions backed by very little data so there’s that.
I'm not going to argue with you, the way you put it with caveat and all is exactly how I think about it.
I just couldn’t remember how they compared. I could have looked it up but then where’s the fun in that.
Is UZR supposed to be park adjusted?
There’s been a couple of guys that had pretty large jumps in UZR, Raul kind of stuck out. It’s had me wondering what goes into UZR. How the stringers work. Be nice to talk to somebody that had some behind the scenes info on it.
