Wait
Which one is the underdog?

I think baseball will be the underdog
Tomorrow.

Yeah
That wouldn’t shock me…

I'd go to more games
if I got off work at an earlier hour. But trying to go from where I live to the Stadium at 7pm means I wouldn’t make it until like the 4th inning.

I'm sure this has been covered before
but Clayton Kershaw really does look like Orel Hershiser.
Fuck Anaheim.
Is that color announcer's hair piece some kind of joke worn ironically? Because otherwise it is really lame.
The Seattle Times' sports section had a sub-heading today that said (paraphrasing):
“Dodgers’ 21-year old Clayton Kershaw takes on the Philadelphia Phillies’ Clayton Kershaw”
A Mariners fan in Seattle
I'm having trouble processing a reality in which Vicente Padilla is a Game 2 starter and Billingsley is in the bullpen.

Joe Torre has been so awful as a manager since coming to the Dodgers
he was probably bad with the Yankees but I never followed them close enough to notice.
The Belliard and Billingsley decision’s are just microcosm’s of his awfulness.
[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
On the radio side they just explained that Hudson was worn down & not hitting, and that Belliard, 'tho brought over as a utility guy, filled in and kept hitting.
Going with the hot hand apparently
I guess it's true
Orlando Hudson Sept/October OPS .716 in 81 PA
Ronnie Belliard Sept/October OPS 1.022 in 79 PA

Well,
Poop. POOOOP.

Since I am rooting for the Phillies mainly because a casual acquaintance is a big fan

I'm barely even paying attention.
I can’t remember the last time I was so disinterested in the playoffs.
FUCK THE ANGELS! FUCK THE ANGELS! FUCK THE ANGELS!
With you there.
I’m excited for tonight’s matchup just because I haven’t had the chance to see Kershaw pitch very much, but I couldn’t care less about the four teams remaining.
I'm going Phillies
but I don’t care as long as whoever wins this series also wins the World Series.
This postseason really sucked.
Fuck Anaheim.
I am handicapped
By an irrational need to keep going and pick a side, regardless. I’m sure there is a prescription for it, I just haven’t gone to my doctor.

Good thing they have Victorino
Raul would not have made that catch.

Schulman just reminded us that despite 16 years having passed, Pedro is still really pissed at being traded away from the Dodgers.
Kershaw deserves this
for showing up in public with the 7th grader facial hair

I've had most of the game on mute
and the first thing I heard both times I turned the sound back on was the word ‘fisted’.
Fuck Anaheim.
I hate repeat champions but I also want to barf at the thought of a Torre v. NY or a LA v. LA series
You don't fancy the LA vs LA series? I do, if only cause there won't be any east coast teams for once
☊
LA plays like the stereotypical scrappy-put-the-game-in-motion NL team
Plus they represent the West, so yeah. If somebody has to do it, sure.
Honestly this year I don't care if the Yankees win
They haven’t won in a while and I don’t really want any of these teams to win.
I still hate them I just hate the Angels more
And this years playoffs are stupid and need to end quickly because any of these 4 teams winning is going to be really annoying.
He hit two fucking doubles and nobody stood and cheered
It was some bullshit

I'm of a certain age.
I still hate them, but I also hate revisionist history and if A-Rod gets a ring, hey.

Apparently the Angels have offered Abreu a 2 year, $16M deal.
FUCK THE ANGELS! FUCK THE ANGELS! FUCK THE ANGELS!
But Ryan Franklin was an allstar with 38 saves
I don’t understand why you would want to replace him.
I haven't liked anything he's done since Quantum Leap
And that was like 45 years ago
Who's covering the radio for ESPN? The color guy has to be McCarver, with mush mouth I'm a prick tone
Jeebus this guy is terrible
Wow I blew that call. Anyway.
The M’s get in the post season, there’s clearly no choice but to go with whichever cable/internet/satellite feed matches up with the radio.
Every time we've been in we've gotten Neihaus/Rizzs
and now with a DVR you can sync them up perfectly
Yeah sounds easy when you're up on technology and current events
Thanks for the heads up, this plan is now in go mode
Now Buck thinks that hitters become more patient when the pitcher loses his good control.
Apparently he missed most of the recent Mariners games.
A lot of towels in that crowd
No mess is going uncleaned tonight!
Leaving Madson in
Okay, I guess, not a huge fan.

Get him!
I really do NOT want to see Manny here.

He did hit a 2-run jack earlier
So hardly a horrid game.

Helps his fastball by generating inertia
Or something
YEAH HA HA HA!
DODGERS LOSE! I HATE LA! FUCK FUCK THEM EVERYDAY!
