Hot Stove League show, sat. 1-3

KIRO has now begun their Hot Stove show, scheduled in the awkward saturday midday timeslot, and with a couple of shows under their belt, they are doing a pretty good job-- still a fair bit of cheerleading (they are the flagship station, after all) but they have been pulling a lot of guys in to talk, and getting some interesting quotes. They have also worked out the phone lines and IM for fan questions. The first fan question was not about Griffey or Raul or WIllie, but about Clements working relationship with Joh.

They also are finally getting a bit more of an online presence; they have the old shows archived on the 710 site, and with Drayer back, her blog is supposed to be back when ST begins. She is also back in the studio this week, which helps as well.

Rick Adair  was the first guest, and when asked about his time in Atlanta, and Mazzone, said that he likes the idea of pitching more between starts, to encourage the pitcher to pitch more on the mound; but that you have to find what works for the individual. He also likes pitching fast.

Jeff Clement is on now, and Larry Stone is to come later. It is interesting listening to  Clement talk about the pitching staff.
