If you put that infield in NOW (meaning next year)? oh no....were wishing for worse than '08
Not a fan of LaHair…
But will admit I do hope for Tui’s success-AFTER Beltre’s contract is up, after he has gained some experience (he is only 22), after he has learned the craft of being a 3B (he rarely played 3B in Highschool ball), and hopefully his bat gets consistent power…
And yes, I have personal bias here. Not based on stats…(Not as “baseball smart” as a lot of you but I am not an idiot either ). But I also wouldn’t want to see him thrown into MLB next year cuz as much as it would be exciting for him it wouldnt be good for him (or us)… give the boy another year in AAA and see where he is in 2010
