Someone says this everyday.
I enjoy all of them and I cannot fathom trying to create/find something new everyday that is amazingly awesome.
4 losses I believe.
Nationals .5 back.
Padres 3.5 back.
Pirates officially eliminated after our loss.
Nationals have 6 games left.
Padres have 6 games left.
Mariners have 7 games left.
The Nationals have one more in the win column, which matters in this situation.
One more thing I got to say.
2001 was such freaking awesome season. I remember looking at the standings everyday and seeing consistent 6+ win streaks. This season is the complete opposite and I feel almost as jubilant (but this new sensation has been prevalent for only a few weeks).
I can’t wait to collect our lottery ticket winnings next June.
The Legend of Miguel Cairo
Mariners INF Miguel Cairo has gone 771 at-bats without hitting a home run, the longest active streak in the major leagues.
