Parking near Safeco?

Hi,

Sorry if this question is stupid.  What is the best place to park near Safeco?

I am a Taiwanese Mariners fan living in New Mexico.  I had watched several Ms' games when the team came to our neighbor states.  I am moving back to my country next spring.  I decide to visit Seattle and our home field before I leave the US.  (It will be the Yankee series this weekend.)  When I bought tickets from the team's website, I found the Safeco parking quite expansive so I didn't buy the parking ticket.  Could anyone point me to a place nearby Safeco where I can park with a reasonable price and just walk to the ball park?

Thank you very much.

On Massachusetts (sp?) out by the bus barn. You can usually find free parking out there.

If not, Home plate parking and the lot right across from it on Royal Brougham are usually $10 and its just across the street from the stadium.

My quick smells like french toast.

It won't be $10 with the Yankees in town...

They’ll jack it up to $20 I’m guessing. There is also free parking on 4th avenue behind all the fast food restaurants if you don’t mind a little walk.

I usually park there on the street for free. If that block is full, there’s usually something a block or so to the east, or north a bit on the edge of the International district if you want to walk a bit more.

I was going to say this

And I think there’s more free parking down 6th (or maybe 4th) but good luck on a workday. It was pretty empty three hours before game time the one time I went to a Sunday game.

I gave up on finding parking near Safeco.

Now I just take the train to Seattle instead.

I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

Thank you, guys.

Now I have some idea about where to park with the information plus google satellite map.

Now Washburn is out and Morrwo is in on Friday. It’s perfect.
