No way. Do you see the way he loads his scapula in a dangling forearm position?
Guaranteed injury. Mark it down. This is science.

I’ll try to fix this somehow.

Ichirolls for everyone!!
That’s not a pun, by the way.
The road to hell is paved with Mariners.

NO FUCKING WAY!!!!
I am sad to have missed this game just for that single play.
If that is not the web gem of the year, BBTN can suck my dick. This is better than Ichiro’s throw to gun down Terrence Long.
BBTN's commentators did a Hawk impression the other day.
Just putting that out there.

You mean the "You can put it on the boooooooard..... YES!" impression
or the always grammar-less “He gone” impression?
Because BBTN does both of those all of time and I can’t stand is.
Good god Gordon lowered the boom here.
This reminds of that game in ‘06, similar play, the runner tried to take out Joh, and Joh gave him the stare-down of death after he held on for the out. I can’t remember who it was although.
God what a prima donna
If Ichiro were really a team player he would have relayed that to the second baseman. TRADE HIM NOW!!!!!!
Nice Guys Finish Third - Hopelessly lost, but makin' good time.
It really makes me remember why I like baseball.

Extrabase prevention and defensive matrix
Does any one know if there is any defensive matrix that takes into account extrabase prevention due to outfielder’s arm? For example, the respect to Ichiro’s arm from the runners sometimes makes a 2B hit only a 1B. Is this considered in Ichiro’s defensive value?
Unrelated to this, here is a funny video of Ichiro:
