and we’re only a half game back of Washington.

BTW, SD plays Pittsburgh to end the season at home. Should it come down to the last day, I’m going to Petco and rooting my ass off for the Padres

Washington plays both NYM and Philadelphia, so that might be tough, but SD has @ Dodgers and vs Pirates, which should be winnable

It is at times like this that I must express my gratitude to Mariners’ management for removing the season from broadcast television. It has saved me untold hours of ennui, which no doubt would have been punctuated by moments of rage. Well done, sirs! Perhaps you could further serve the public by removing the games from cable next season!
