Seattle Mariners at Cleveland Indians, Aug 30, 2008 12:55 PM PDT
Ignoring the Mariners seems like a pretty good way to celebrate a holiday weekend.

you know thats a true story?
a woman lost her child..
I figured..
that was a reference to Tropic Thunder. If not, nevermind.
It was not.
Haven’t seen it yet.

I really had no intentions of ever seeing it.
My friends dragged me into it. In all honesty though, it did have its moments.
I laughed a lot.
It’s nothing amazing, but Ben Stiller is a perfectionist, and it’s just a solidly put-together comedy.
I wasn’t going to see it until I started reading about Downey’s performance. He was fantastic. And the fake trailers in the beginning are worth the price of admission. They’re so funny that they make the rest of the movie a bit disappointing.
Was gonna' be on Fox, got dumped.

Yes it's very critical that you know the game time temperature.

Houston, Texas: home to oil tycoons, birthplace of "crunk", and Minute Maid park.
no, money down!
by oc on Aug 30, 2008 4:42 PM PDT up reply actions
Houston can't be held responsible for crunk music. It's a Memphis/Atlanta thing.
Houston was the birthplace of far better rap than that. UGK! Geto Boys!
"Crunk" music derived from UGK and the Geto Boys, no?
no, money down!
by oc on Aug 30, 2008 6:36 PM PDT up reply actions
I wouldn't say so.
UGK and the Geto Boys never made club music. The Geto Boys made darker, more grim music. And UGK was super laid-back. Both groups knew how to write and didn’t lean on repetition and screaming.
I could go for some Crunk Juice right now, though.
I love how the manager gets run because it was so obviously a hit and not a trap.
